 The audience has spoken! Congratulation to team Vigna Franca Films from Toronto for winning the Audience Award for their film, "Cassidy." The filmmakers will receive $500 and the film will screen at Filmapalooza in Los Angeles along with Best Film Winner, "The Core of Cassidy" March 7-10, 2013.

All fifteen finalists are now online for viewing and rating for the Audience Award. Watch and rate all fifteen finalists. Consider story, production value, creativity and use of elements in your rating. Voting ends January 3, 2013. The Audience Award winner will receive $500 and a screening at Filmapalooza in Los Angeles next March. |

The results are in! The first round of judging has been completed to determine the 15 finalists for the 2012 National Film Challenge.
All finalists will go to a second round of judges who will determine the Grand Prize Winner. Soon you will be able to watch all 15 finalists online and vote for the Audience Award. The Grand Prize Winner will receive $1,000 and the Audience Award Winner will receive $500. Both films will screen with the 48 Hour Film Project City Winners at Filmapalooza in March 7-10, 2013.
