Save the Date: 2011 National Film Challenge

Dates have been announced for the 2011 National Film Challenge! This year, the challenge will take place October 21-24 2011, giving filmmakers from around the country and world enough time to cool down and gear up for 72 hours of fast filmmaking action once again.

The results are in!

We know you've all been anxious to find out who made it into the top 15, well wait no longer, here is the list!

There were many excellent films submitted this year. Keep in mind that judging is subjective, there were a lot of great films right on the edge that may have not made the cut.

These films will be available for viewing and audience award voting in the next week and are also headed to the final round of judging to determine the Grand Prize Winner.

Film Challenge Now Accepting HD Films

Film Challenge is proud to announce the acceptance of HD films in the 2010 competition. Previously films had to be down converted to standard definition and letter-boxed. High Definition films are accepted as well as the 16:9 aspect ratio. Read the complete Filmmaker Rules page to be sure your HD film follows the correct criteria for the competition!
